I have visited Colorado many times before with family and friends for years. Aspen, Denver, Keystone, Crested Butte, Beaver Creek, Copper Moutain, Telluride, and others have always made me eager to come back. However, after visiting Creede, I have decided I want to come back here, and here only! Not only is Creede truly “the last great place on Earth,” it is also home to Cabins at Lost Trail Ranch. I was fortunate enough to get to spend a week in paradise last July and I will do my best to try and return every year in the future. I have never been to a place that is more remote, quiet, breathtaking, and peaceful in all of my life. As a college student, I spend a good amount of time looking at a computer screen and stressed about essays and exams. Lost Trail Ranch was the perfect place for me to relax. The fly fishing is incredible, hiking is surreal, and to top it off, the scenery is magnificent. We gazed at wildlife almost everywhere we went! The caretakers at Lost Trail Ranch are also some of the most genuine and thoughtful people I have had the pleasure of knowing. Do yourself, and your family a favor and visit The Cabins at Lost Trail Ranch as soon as you can! You won’t regret visiting the last great place!
